Is Receipt Pro safe to use? +

Yes. Receipt Pro processes all data locally in your browser. Your purchase history, personal information, and Costco credentials are never sent to any external server. We have no backend that receives user data.

Is Receipt Pro affiliated with Costco? +

No. Receipt Pro is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Costco Wholesale Corporation in any way.

How does Receipt Pro access my purchase history? +

Receipt Pro reads purchase data that is already displayed in your browser when you're logged into Costco.com. It does not access any data that isn't already visible to you in your account.

What's the difference between Quick Scan and Executive Scan? +

Quick Scan (free) gives you a spending overview — total spending, stores visited, and a shareable stats card. Executive Scan (MAX, $9.97/year) opens each receipt to read available item-level details, and lets you export styled Excel reports, track online orders, and generate tax-exempt templates for resale use.

How do I activate Receipt Pro MAX? +

After purchase, you'll receive a license key on the payment confirmation page and via email. Enter the key in the extension popup to unlock all MAX features. Activation is instant and processed locally.

Can I get a refund? +

Yes. If you're not satisfied with Receipt Pro MAX, contact us at support@myreceiptpro.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked.

Which browsers are supported? +

Receipt Pro supports Google Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers like Edge and Brave) and Safari on macOS. Install from the Chrome Web Store or Mac App Store.

Why can't I see all item details on some receipts? +

Some bulk or multi-product receipts on Costco.com only display partial item data (total amount without qty/unit price breakdown). This is a limitation of the data Costco provides, not the extension. Receipt Pro reads all available details.
